About me
Trevor Olsen Ed.S. is an Associate Director with the University of Utah’s School Mental Health Collaborative (USMHC). USMHC is dedicated to enhancing well-being in educational settings. In his role, Trevor works with schools and school districts to evaluate and create plans to enhance their school mental health support systems.
Trevor’s experience includes Director of Student Services for the San Juan School District, School Administration, School Counseling, Juvenile Justice Youth Services Counselor, and Juvenile Probation Officer here in the State of Utah. He has a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, Masters degrees in Educational Counseling and Educational Leadership, and an Educational Specialist Degree from Arkansas State University. He has been implementing school based mental health counseling, trauma informed practices, restorative practices and Navajo Peacemaking as an alternative to discipline.
