About me
Talia A. Casares, originally from Mexico City, moved to the U.S. to pursue a degree in Spanish teaching. She holds a Master’s in Spanish Pedagogy from Brigham Young University and has earned endorsements in Dual Language Immersion (DLI), TESOL, STEM, and Educational Technology. Passionate about innovative teaching, her research explores the integration of literacy, science, and mobile-assisted language learning in DLI environments.
Currently, Talia teaches 4th-grade Spanish as a second language at North Sanpete School District, where she enjoys incorporating technology and creative strategies to help students thrive in their language-learning journey. Outside the classroom, she loves exploring art, music, and travel.
