About me
Patricia Zavala is a 5th-grade Spanish Dual Immersion teacher at North Sanpete School District with nearly 30 years of experience teaching Spanish and English in diverse classroom settings. She has taught in language institutes, bilingual, and multilingual schools in her hometown of Peru.
She holds an Educational Degree from Cayetano Heredia University in Peru and certifications in Teaching Languages, including the EELT (Cambridge Examination in English Language) and COTE (Certificate for Overseas Teachers of English) from Cambridge University, England. In addition, Patricia is a dedicated family advocate, earning a Certificate in Home and Family Studies from BYU-Idaho. She also holds a Master’s Degree in Psychopedagogy from Andres Bello University in Chile, which has enabled her to support students in enhancing their cognitive skills for more effective learning. Outside the classroom, Patricia enjoys dancing, traveling, and meeting people from different cultures.
