About me
Phillip is a career educator with over twenty-nine years of experience. Fourteen of those years were spent teaching high school Biology, Earth Science, Chemistry, and Physics, in both Duchesne County School District and the Kingdom of Tonga. Phillip spent four years as an adjunct professor for Utah State University Uintah Basin teaching Bio 1010 and USU 1350. For the last fifteen years, Phillip has been an elementary vice-principal and principal, a high school vice-principal and athletic director and is currently the Human Resources Director for Duchesne County School District. He is the husband to Doris Haslem Bertoch, the proud father of five children and the grandfather to four wonderful grandchildren.
