About me
Nathan Auck has engaged stakeholders at all levels of our country’s educational ecosystem, working towards better experiences and outcomes for each student. In 2015, he was awarded the Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching, in 2017, he served a year-long Albert Einstein Distinguished Educator Fellowship in Washington D.C., and in 2019, was named one of 10 NSTA/NCTM National STEM Ambassadors. Currently working as the STEM Coordinator for the Utah State Board of Education, his work focuses on empowering systems leaders to build coherence into their educational initiatives through Utah’s Personalized Competency-based Learning framework and its Portrait of a Graduate.
