About me
Molly Basham is the Early Learning Mathematics Specialist for the Utah State Board of Education. Molly comes to this roll with a background in preschool and elementary education having taught PreK, kindergarten, second, and fourth grade during her time as a classroom teacher. Prior to becoming a board specialist, she also worked in Curriculum Design and adult learning. She is deeply passionate about math education and dreams of building an elementary mathematics culture in which all teachers are excited about and confident in their ability to create powerful mathematics experiences so that students are empowered to be mathematical thinkers and doers.
