About me
I am a passionate 5th-grade educator with 13 years of teaching experience, All of those in rural Utah. I strongly advocate for literacy, math, and technology, using hands-on projects, Thinking Classroom strategies, and digital tools like Adobe Express to engage my students and build critical thinking skills. I love fostering a love for learning through small-group instruction, Math Olympiad coaching, and novel studies.
Outside the classroom, I am a wife, mother of two, and proud grandmother of two enthusiastic grandboys. I have a deep love for the outdoors and enjoy hiking, camping, and hunting with my family. Nature is my escape, and I bring that same sense of adventure and discovery into my teaching.
I am always looking for new ways to inspire my students and help them grow. Creating a dynamic, student-centered classroom where curiosity thrives is my passion.
