About me
KC Olson, principal of Monticello High School, is dedicated to facilitating student and teacher growth and well-being. He has many years of experience in education as a teacher and administrator within the San Juan and Washington County School Districts. He earned his B.S. in physical education and special education and M.Ed. in administration from Southern Utah University. For the past 10 years KC has served as an administrator in multiple roles. He was inspired to go into education while serving in the Army in Iraq. On a combat mission, he realized, “If I wanted to make a difference in this world, working in a school was a great place to do so. I feel that empowering students to reach their full potential is a great way to impact our future. The students in the classrooms today will one day be our leaders.”
