About me
With a career spanning 29 years in education, Katie Jones has witnessed firsthand the transformative power of educators working together. Her experience as a classroom teacher (K-7), reading specialist, and instructional coach across all levels has solidified her belief in the potential of collective efficacy to drive positive change. Holding a Master's in Curriculum and Instruction and currently serving with the USBE Quality Instruction team, Katie is deeply involved in fostering teacher leadership and mentoring. She is particularly thrilled to be leading the collective efficacy initiative as part of the SB127 Early Literacy Bill, driven by the conviction that when educators believe in their shared capacity to influence student outcomes, remarkable things happen.
