About me
Chris has been a music educator, songwriter, composer, and performer for over 20 years. He began his teaching career at a small after-school academy in Park City in which he taught guitar lessons to students ages 10-50. When he became a full-time teacher, he was able to expand the techniques he learned as a private guitar teacher to the larger classroom.
Chris currently resides in Garden City, Utah and teaches all of the music classes at Rich Middle School and Rich High School. Before moving to Garden City, Chris taught music in the Bronx at West Bronx Academy for the Future, and at a small private school for troubled kids called West Ridge Academy. He loves teaching Rock Band and has witnessed its power to change and transform lives and school communities.
