About me
As an Educational Leader and Early College Specialist at the Utah State Board of Education, Christy has been serving for over six years. Her role involves supervising statewide early college programs, managing grants, overseeing the US Presidential Scholars Program, and leading professional learning for early college coordinators. She also serves as a member of several committees, including PCBL, Equitable Access, CCRC, and USBE strategic plan.
In addition to her current role, she is also a College Board Regional Council Member, representing regional members and brining suggestions, issues, and concerns about programs and services to the council table. She has a strong background in education, with a Master's degree in Second Language Teaching and 2 Bachelor's degrees in History and Spanish from Utah State University. She is passionate about improving access to early college courses and enhancing educational outcomes for all students.
