Spy Hop:
Spy Hop is a digital media arts center offering free, project-based programming in Salt Lake City and across the state of Utah for students 9-19 of all skill levels and aspirations. We meet young people where they are in their lives and invite them to tell their stories through film, music, audio and design. Our model combines youth development, arts education, and career preparation to empower young people to gain the skills they need to be successful.
Utah Film Center:Utah Film Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that harnesses the power of the moving image through film exhibition, media arts education, and artist support to connect with communities around Utah. In 2023, Utah Film Center offered 439 events in Utah. Over 29,000 Utahns directly participated in these events. Through our on-air partnerships, over 1.5 million Utahns were able to engage with our programs.
Our programs are designed to raise critical awareness, build empathy, and nurture artistic expression, all while establishing a local, thriving Utah-based filmmaking ecosystem.
